Tax Matters

After receiving a Masters of Laws in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center, Jonathan spent a significant amount of time researching and analyzing partnership, corporate and personal income tax issues, as well as tax collection and assessment issues and IRS procedure. He has assisted various clients in negotiating federal tax controversies with the IRS, such as responsible person penalty inquiries. In addition, Jonathan recently obtained a complete real property tax exemption for a charitable organization in the State of Maryland and successfully abated the maximum failure to file penalty for the IRS form 990 on behalf of a public charity, even after several unsuccessful attempts.
